Welcome
to the only Dude Ranch in the
Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee!

"Rough Cut"
Our guest lodge and western town
About The
Ranch
Our Dude
ranch was opened in 1993, on Labor Day weekend.
The
first part of the ranch that was completed was the campground along the
river. The French Broad river attracts many canoeists, rafters, and fisherman
and the campground supplied a convenient place to stay and do all of these
things.
The first
structures built were the camping cabins and bath house. We now call them
pioneer cabins, and they are part of the all inclusive packages.
Our next
phase was the building of individual cabins along the ridges that face
the river valley. These 4 cabins enjoy all the modern conveniences, yet
still have that rustic appeal that so many people desire.
Our
newest phase is the building of an "old Western Town" which
we call "Rough Cut." Located above pastures in the river bottom,
you can view the Smoky Mountains as well as hear the mighty river right
from the front porch. The town contains our 1200 square foot dining room,
800 sq ft kitchen, 300 sq ft tv & library room, and upstairs our dance
room 750 sq ft where the live bluegrass band plays, along with our saloon
which is 500 sq ft with an outside covered deck 8 by 40. Also located
there are the 4 lodge rooms 16 by 20 with full bath, built in the western
theme of old shops on the outside, and modern convenience yet old fashioned
rooms inside.
Step
back in time with us, enjoy a real Dude Ranch vacation where the only
thing you need to worry about, is how much fun you're gonna have each
day.
Our all
inclusive packages are the best in the business.
We invite you
to check out the other dude and guest ranches, and compare dollar for
dollar value. We are confident you'll find our packages give you more
activities for you money, along with great meals and lodging than anyone
else. We believe in treating you right, so we offer the best value in
the industry.

A new webpage will pop up which is bigger so you can read it. Some of
these are sent by the kids, which surveys show they remember this kind
of vacation for the rest of their lives. A great thought!
